FANAKA means a link to success and FANAKA street children sports program is an intervention by CHRISC Kenya aimed at using the medium of sports as a contact for the wellbeing of the street families. Since it’s inception in January of 2006, this program has already attracted more than 160 street children and mainly boys, and more efforts is being sought to encourage girls participation. This has helped in establishing rapport with the Street families, and providing an effective forum of interaction and mutual trust.
