Voi is a market town in southern Kenya – Taita Taveta, lying on the edge of the Tsavo National Park. It lies at the junction of the railway lines from Nairobi to Mombasa and Taveta. Also the Voi Sisal Estates are located near the town. Voi is also located near some Taita villages like, Ikanga and Mkwachunyi. CHRISC activities in the area are mainly soccer and volleyball; CHRISC in Voi operates in Kariokor, st John, st Barnabas. Activities in CHRISC Voi are mainly football and volleyball organized through school program, tournaments and leagues. We adress key social issues facing the youth in our schools and local community aged between 10 to 25 years, among the issues addressed are HIV/AIDS through Kicking Aids Out, life skills, sports and development. We also organize training for the youth in order to build their capacity i.e Leadership and teambuilding, sports administration, tournament and league management, HIV/AIDS, Substance and drug abuse, football coaching, refereeing and first aid. CHRISC Voi participates in East Africa cup in Moshi Tanzania annually.
